wxAlert Weather Alerts app for iPhone and iPad

WX Weather Alert
A weather alert application that will push severe weather alerts to your mobile device. Optionally users have the ability to filter certain events to keep number of alerts down. Currently you would be able to filter based on following alert types:
Flood
Hurricane
Severe thunderstorm
Flash flood
Winter storm
High winds
Coastal flood
Severe weather
Special weather statements

This application was designed in mind to give the convenience of receiving weather alerts on your mobile device but it should not replace a weather radio if you live in an area with frequent severe weather but to augment a weather radio. WxAlert was designed to help spread the word of severe weather in a more convenient and faster method, hopefully reducing injuries and saving lives.

Important: When you install and launch for the first time, the app will ask to turn on push-notifications and location services. Please choose YES to avoid the hassle of having to manually enable them later. Alerts will not work without either of these.
